Vehicles For Hire. Macduff Crane Hire was established in 1966 when our first crane was purchased
to assist the ship building activities of Macduff Shipyards.
Macduff Crane Hire has developed significantly over the years and now offers full crane hire and cargo handling
services from our modern fleet to a wide ranging customer base throughout the North east of Scotland and Aberdeen. Safety
is of paramount importance to us and all of our Cranes are fully tested and certified specialist lifting equipment with
fully qualified CITB operators. Macduff Crane Hire core business activities includes Cargo Lifting, Contract Lifting,
Marine Lifting, Steel Work and Installation. Our customers come from a wide range of industry sectors including Marine, Construction
(including private kit houses), Distilleries, Oil & Gas and Transport.
Our crane hire manger is Victor Cowie who has over 10 years experience in all aspects of craneage and specialised lifting
operations. With our wide range of cranes we are readily available to service your operational requirements. Our Crane Hire
is carried out under standard CPA (Construction Plant Hire Association) hire terms unless additional insurance is requested
by the customer or a contract lift is required.
We have a fully certified appointed person who will
plan and supervise your lifting requirements carrying out site visits to plan the lift and providing the necessary advice
on the operation. Method Statement and lifting plan can be prepared if required.
