Macduff Profilers
Macduff Profilers was established in 1999 originally to assist Macduff Shipyards with their ongoing projects. The business
has grown significantly since then and now operates from modern premises on the outskirts of Macduff, servicing the shipyard
together with a wide ranging customer base throughout Scotland.
Macduff Profilers produce CNC profiled carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium for many manufacturers including
a full cutting service for ship kits. Profiling equipment includes oxy/plasma for plates up to 12m x 2.5m x 20mm
and oxy/propane with twin heads for plates up to 12m x 3m x 150mm with line marking facilities.
We hold a large stock of plate ranging from 1mm to 150mm in carbon steel mostly S355 J2 grade, including G8/G10 with
Z properties and certification to 3.2 level available for the more widely used thickness. Stainless steel plate to 15mm thick.
All plate is fully traceable and sourced mostly from western European mills.
Our equipment is market leading and includes a Windows based CAD/CAM, DXF import/export, e-mail drawing transfer system.
We also have extensive fabrication facilities complete with all necessary services and overhead cranes which can produce
all manner of fabrications in steel and aluminium.
Macduff Profilers manager is Gordon Rhind who has many years experience in all aspects of profiling requirements. With
our wide range of state of the art equipment and facilities we are readily available to service your operational requirements.
A key feature of our business is our ability to respond quickly to your needs and we also operate a rapid delivery
service using our own fleet of HGV vehicles.
